Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major card services. There is a fee to use a credit card. Orders over $3,000 may contact sales for wire instructions.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you may, as long as the item has not been shipped. If the order has already been shipped we will still attempt to cancel the order, but cannot guarantee that the cancellation will be possible. If you do receive an order that was canceled, accept delivery of the item and contact Dawson Aircraft, Inc. Customer Service at (877) 293-5300 for return instructions.
I canceled my order but I haven’t received a credit yet. How long do credits take?
We submit all requests for credits within 10 days of receipt. You should see this on your next credit card statement, depending on where you are in your billing cycle.
Can I return an item that is damaged, defective, or I just don’t want?
Yes. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will assess the unit by looking at the photos used to list the unit for sale and the unit after it has been returned. If new damage is present or if the photos do not match up, the refund will be denied. The unit will be available to be shipped back to the customer at their cost. Merchandise returned without authorization will be refused.
Are all items guaranteed?
Yes. All items are guaranteed to operate WITHIN DESCRIBED ADVERTISED MANNER, “AS IS, WHERE IS & IN AS REMOVED CONDITION” but do not carry any warranty other than to operate within the return policy guidelines.
* PLEASE NOTE: Tested or Yellow-Tagged electrical parts cannot be returned.
* PLEASE NOTE: International orders are not guaranteed our standard return policy due to varying trade agreements and international accords limiting insurance settlements on shipping claims. Certain international orders may not be eligible for refunds. However, we do have options for our international customers. Please contact us for solutions unique to each international transaction.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We offer same-day shipping and we will ship to suit your needs in our effort to be your best aircraft parts supplier. The standard shipping time for orders shipped via UPS or FedEx ground is 1-5 days. Large items are shipped via truck, and usually arrive in 4-5 days but may take up to 6-12. Expedited shipping is available.
Can I have an order shipped to my P.O. Box?
No. The vast majority of our merchandise is shipped via UPS or FedEx, and a valid street address is required.
Can I ship my order to a different address?
Yes. Remember to use a street address, not a Post Office Box, for any shipping address.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Shipping charges vary according to product type and destination. Most products are shipped via UPS or FedEx (because they offer package insurance and excellent tracking software). Larger items are generally shipped via common carrier and require higher shipping rates. All products offer an express service. Oversized items require a custom crate, and this charge varies on volume.
