IO 550 N51 for sale

Friday, November 15th, 2013

Off the front of a SR 22 Cirrus, can include the turbo normalizer kit. We can sell it after running it through a prop strike inspection at an engine shop, or sell it outright. It’s up to you.

We did mic and dye-check the crank and no problems were noted.

Not cheap; call Alex or Tim

Continental O 200 for sale

Monday, October 21st, 2013

We just got this in. To be honest it’s in pretty rough shape. You can’t see it in the picture but the oil tank’s dented back and the carb’s been torn off after the Cessna 150 folded a nose gear after an unplanned stop.

Although, at least, the engine was at idle.

Anyway, we have a lot going on here lately and if you need a Continental O 200 just pulled from a Cessna 150 — in, granted, rough shape — call Alex or Tim with an offer.

Update: 329.58 hours since overhaul

Cessna 206 coming in

Tuesday, April 9th, 2013

Update: We have a sale pending on this airplane.

Let us know what you’re looking for, we’re just bringing in a mid 60s model Cessna 206 with an IO-550 engine conversion; 8200 total on airframe, the engine is 1250 since factory and 550 since top, we’re told. This one also has a camera port, with lots of good structural pieces and parts. One wing is original, one has been field repaired and shows some hail (we’ll have pictures up in due time).

Again, just let us know what you’re looking after and we’ll get your name on it.

EDIT: S-Tec autopilot!

Everything which may be said about Cessna 310 engines may be said about these Cessna 310 engines (off a D model, since you asked).

Continental IO 360s as removed from a Skymaster

Thursday, October 4th, 2012

We’ve got the engines off our earlier-mentioned Cessna 337 Skymaster. Both are in good shape, both factory remans and regularly maintained (which is a fancy way of saying we’ve got the logbooks).

Here’s a LINK $8,300 each, we’ll deal if you buy both.

Call Tim or Alex with any questions.

The flying airplane man

Thursday, May 10th, 2012

It turns out, when you have to unload a Cessna 337 from a trailer, you need to provide a counterweight, or as we like to call our counterweights, “Aaron.”

Here, then, is a picture of Aaron counterweighing a Cessna 337 we just got in, as we unload it into the yard.

In the end, this is a drawn-out way of letting you know we have the 337 in and it has a lot of good parts. Call with your needs.

Cessna 172H hitting the market

Friday, April 20th, 2012

This is for a friend of ours, selling his (very clean) Cessna 172H.

October annual with 1900 hours on the airframe and (a little less than) 500 on the Continental O 300 engine. Imron paint job in 2006 and upgraded radios. Always carefully kept in a climate-controlled hangar.

Call Alex for details.
