World’s greatest fuel truck

Friday, April 13th, 2012

Yes, yes, we understand, just when you thought life couldn’t get any more awesome, the World’s Greatest Fuel Truck enters the market!

It’s a 1956 Dodge with a PTO and a 400 gallon tank. Even better, we’re putting it out on the blog/Facebook this weekend to give our loyalists first crack at the thing. After that we’re going to have to spend money to advertise it, so the price will go up.

Best of all? We are taking offers on the World’s Greatest Fuel Truck.

Now, granted, it does’t run. We seem to recall it has a broken cam or something important like that gone out of it. And the fuel tank, well yeah, does have some rust in it that we can see. So you’ll have to haul it out of here, and clean the tank out if you want to use it.

But we’re taking offers, I mean c’mon!

Note, further, it has been kept under cover, that’s one, and it has a racing-style air filter on the broken engine, that’s two. The tires give the appearance of being able to hold air.

No guarantees expressed or implied. No warranty. If we accept your offer you have to come here and get the thing.

But, leave us not to neglect: If we accept your offer you will be the proud owner of the World’s Greatest Fuel Truck!

Be the first one on your block!

Let us know.

Wrestling a 747

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

The airplane is designed to cruise at 500 or 600 miles an hour; it’s designed to land at about 150 or 160 mph. We didn’t know what was physically wrong with the airplane. And we were afraid that once we departed this delicate balance that we were operating in that we may lose control of the airplane again.

1999 Yamaha PW50 Dirt Bike

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Youth sized; runs great, Shaft Drive w/nothing to maintain, Good Condition (for dirt bike) some scratches and wear. Recent tune up. My son out grew and wants a go cart. Can’t beat it for a beginner bike, safe for kids with no chains and can adjust the throttle for a low power setting.

$350, first cash in hand gets it.
